Our Mexican Hammocks, made in Chiapas, in the south of Mexico, perpetuate a centuries-old tradition. They are made by hand, within families of artisans, using ancestral methods passed down from generation to generation. In the past, the Chiapas region was famous for its production of Ixtle and Henequen, used in making the first hammocks.
